tuart college is a mature age college so google it and check it out.
Don't b confused about lack of TEE info out there. U will need to suss out with New Courses of Study what u wanna do. Probably the stage 3 courses of physics chem and maths. www.curriculum.wa.edu.au has heaps of course info. I'm a high school ICT teacher so if u have any qs pm me and I'll do my best to help. |

have u considered the colleges (e.g. PIBT, CIC, Taylors etc)?? like where the internationals go to... im pretty sure they also accept local students too. It may be more expensive, but it is another option. Some of these might also get you straight into your second year of uni coz the units get exempted.

Hey mate,
yeah i suggest maybe going through colleges instead of redoing year 12 tee just to get into university (if that is the path you wish to follow). For example, PIBT offers 1st year business and media courses which act like a bridging course into second year of university for ECU or Curtin (so you don't loose time). The only difference is PIBT doesn't offer HECS and you'll need to pay around $1200 upfront for each unit. |

Can you still do the mature age entry test for uni/tafe?
What specifically do you want to learn?

canning college is an option for redoing TEE, otherwise PIBT is an option pending what you wanna do, i know theres other mature age methods to get into uni, im not familiar with them though.

Try go straight into Uni.
Look at the Uni pre reqs for the course your hoping to do - i.e. year 12 Maths and English. If you have those pre reqs already do a STAT test after you have done the course "understanding the STAT" which is one night a week for about 1 month at Canning or Tuart College. If you find there are pre reqs you dont have do them at Canning or Tuart Colleges depending on where you live. Then apply to Uni via normal avenues and also back that up with the STAT test. With your Uni application write a letter explaining that you are commited to completing the degree, mention any other achievements you have such as examples where you committed to something like an apprenticeship or diploma and that you have the support of your family and friends behind you. Fairly sure they all have a mid year intake. And finally - good luck. A mature age degree is very difficult and there is a high drop out rate but commiting to it and finishing it can really change your life. Also know that anyone can do a degree but only hard work (in the way of study) gets you through it. Graham
