^^ as above. I guess that is the disadvantage of FIFO. When i have my holidays they are for 3 or 4 weeks what ever i book and then i can go away. Bit hard when its only a week every 3 weeks or whatever. Just my thoughts.

Play lots of xbox and ps3 during the day, then go watch movies/go out/have sex at night.

Yeh Awesome if your getting paid for 52 weeks and only working 26..............More than likely the wage won't be as good as a 2&1 or 3&1.

i actually got a 5grand pay increase when we changed from 2&1 to 1&1

1 & 1 is the best roster. i've just gone 2 & 2 in the last year. so much better for the R&R you can go away and do heaps more, never really get boring

Think you missed something. You still get annual leave. For me 4 weeks so every 3rd week off and if you take two weeks off at a time that gives you two month long breaks every year or a seven week break if you take all at once.

I like some of the job share guys deal but the mortgage is to big at the moment. Work 2 weeks out of every 6 and still get 2 weeks annual leave. 15 weeks work year but still home 40-50g a year after tax. Pretty casual way to slip into semi retirement
