Default Interwebnet help

So while I write programs a fair bit, I'm still quite useless with some of this internet business and could use a lil bit of hlep. This morning both myself and the sister tried accessing hotmail through msn, but it redirects to outlook express...anyone else have this thing happening? And if so, how exactly are you meant to fix it?

Hotmail though MSN? Outlook Express, say what? What are you trying to do exactly?

is it the new MSN? (Windows Live Messenger 2009)

If so i think it defaults to that as outlook express was replaced with Windows Live Mail.

I know mine did it when i upgraded, but the new hotmail annoys me so ive just used windows mail.

Maybe try to look in the preferences of MSN or outlook express to see if there is an option to choose to open hotmail?

Or if you dont use Outlook Express, uninstall it?

Ah, it seems to already have fixed itself since I've restarted my computer. I have a different account using outlook, hence why it was a pain in the ass. I only use the hotmail one for sneaky sneaky dodgy things...

hotmail was down for a few hours earlier today. Mine was saying that I had no inbox. Tried my wifes and that was the same. Tried our spare computer and as we dont use outlook on that it opened outlook searching for an inbox. It was bizarre.
