I used to blog regularly but now I just use twitter. If you run Firefox you can install the Echofon plugin which gives you instant twitter in the lower status bar.

I follow a few Formula 1 pundits plus a couple of authors and media people (e.g. Wil Anderson). It's more immediate than a blog and requires a lot less time and thinking to update, as evidenced by frequent media reports of dumb celebs tweeting all kinds of slurs.

As for Facebook .. that thing is a shocker. I think I've blocked all the cruddy application invites and then someone writes nine more must-have apps and eight hundred people think I should be enjoying them.
