*Next up is the Mazda3 MPS, the performance variant of the Mazda3 which comes with the MZR 2.3 liter DISI turbocharged engine with 260 hp and 280 lb-ft (380 Nm) of cranking power. The DISI stands for Direct Injection Spark Ignition. Direct injection technology allows for both improved performance and economy.

Both variants are scheduled to go on sale in Europe shortly after their Geneva debut.

Yep they are FWD...the last one coped suprisingly well. The last one shared a lot of Ford components, if this one has been produced in a similar fashion I can see this being as close to a Focus RS as Aus is going to get.

Its petrol turbo...the clue is in the DISI designation.

Looks NOTHING like a Subaru.

Also, the 3 MPS is not, and never will be, anything like the Ford Focus RS.

FWD torque steer for the fail and as Joe states the MPS is no Focus RS and never will be.
