Actually death can occur from an over dose of Forte. Takes a lot of pills but can cause severe kidney and liver damage. Extremely painful apparently.

More useless facts.. they did a hack (jjj) story on depressed teens taking bulk amounts of paracetamols. Apparently you can't help but yack it up before it actually kills you, but as you say there'd be some long term effects.

Yeah.. You die from the paracetamol overdose. Normal dose of paracetamol is 15mg/kg... The lethal dose of paracetamol is 150mg/kg. So you need quite a few tablets containing paracetamol to OD. But if you take the panadeine forte you'll probably become severely constipated, lose respiratory function and become drowsy before you die from the paracetamol. And probably chuck up too if your not used to taking opioids.
