The white bread one is true. I have had a few staff who never drank blow numbers as they were eating a piece of toast or something. 5 minutes later they blew zero.

There is 2 two tricks that I now that do lowere the reading too, One is to eat ice cream 5 minutes before the test. - Somehow the fatty acids absorb the alcohol out of the blood for about 20 minutes. - I googled it once and it gave a pretty good explanation.

my favourite though is to suck on an ice cube before blowing. Something to do with the density of the air changing in different proportions to alcohol.

well something that works well is keeping Eclipse mint thingy in your car and chump on a few of them while on the drive home. It works like the icecream / icecube.

Its not like you're gonna store ice cube/ice cream in your glove box
