that thing is amazing. I always wanted one but with a rotor.
|
Needs a sunvisor on the front windscreen.
Looks pretty damn good. |
OMFG thats awesome !!!!!!!!!!!
|
Looks like an awesome sleeper. Nice pick-up!
|
Great Sleeper!!! ;)
|
That is SENSATIONAL... Lovely car!
|
Nice car
My mate has 72 Celica with a similar engine. A Trev in a V8 ute laughed at it at the lights when he was taking me for a spin. Couldnt even see the ute looking back after a few seconds. Whipped by a sleeper. |
^
LOL, Its hard to tell what older cars have in them these days. A majority of them have got some sort of work gone into them. |
So so so good!
Do want. One of the guys I speak to over east has one with a 2JZ, massive single etc :D |
Very nice! lot of fun to be had there.
|
Sweet as.
PM me if you ever want to sell it. |
Do you wear a tweed jacket and hat and smoke a pipe when you drive it !
Killer :D |
Top work, love the old skool stuff with SR20's in em. Just got poncams and ras for mine... :-)
|
Brilliant car, the venetians are a nice touch.
Have you got a lawn bowls hat for the parcel shelf? |
How much was it if you don't mind me asking. Very cool car, funny looking thing but it has big balls.
|

Wow, I forgot I made a intro to you fellow members about my little project car.
I should of really kept this up to date. Since some of you don't mind showing non wrx cars in here I'll show some progress pics at a later date. Many of you would of seen the build up on antilag.com anyways. Well since the car was off the road a lot has changed and been done. Just to cap some things: -bare metal resparay in the same offwhite/cream colour -fully forged sr20 with potential to withstand 500+ bhp with gt35r -interior changes, custom dash and yet to get retrimmed -custom made 9" rear wheels to allow more rubber for traction There is more but will get pics up soon Stay tuned |
nice.
i want to do that with my 1976 RA23 celica but with a 1JZ, 300bhp at 1000kg should be fine.... |
Oh that is a piece of "classic" that I would love to have in the garage.
|
very nice..
|
Keen to see fresh pics mate!
|
Where is the bowling hat on the rear parcel shelf? Isn't that why you installed the venetians, to stop them fading?
|
V.nice ride there, 'and looking at the prior attention to detail', will be hanging out to see the car after the aformentioned mods/changes.
Much love for the rear window sun shield :D Treat it to the front one to for ultimate grandapa spec sleeper. Also youtube of it idling/barbs runs etc would be sweet! |
i love it mate!!
my cousin over in adelaide has a KE11 rolla, EXACT SAME spec,,, venetians, moon disks and all the grandpa spec....but has a big power rotary hiding under the hood :D love it! davo |

I'm running a GT2540 and have so far only managed 12.6 with wheel spin in all of 1st, all of 2nd and most of 3rd!!! LOL |

That was back in 2005 by the previous owner. At the time motor magazine was testing a brand new 911 Porsche and the rolla beat it by a fraction of time. 911s 11.99 and rolla 11.95. Will post page from the magazine with my car featured by the editor at the time. Yes, a t25 but hiflowed which was better than just a stock one obviously. Will post up the time and the magazine article |

Is that on street tires or full slick compound? With full slicks you shouldn't have much wheel spin... what size tires were you running? |

wow! cant judge a book by its cover....
great car mate. |
:worthless
|
awsome care mate, good work. love it.
|
Just needs a sticker on the back window
Jesus is my air bag |
Cheers to all for the kind words :)
That was on my old 205/55 I have since got GTR rims with 225/50 khumos
That is a narrow tyre with a lot of power. Guessing it's a semi slick than. Not bad time with all the wheel spin you had. Good luck with your new time with wider rubber.
:worthless
comon mate :) have to wait till I'm home than I'll post up pics from when it was stripped to where it's put together now. Stay tuned.
Just needs a sticker on the back window Jesus is my air bag
wish I could get airbags but this is a 70's era, got to leave it old school. Roll cage will be done once I crack the 10 sec bracket, but at a later date no rush for that. Plan is to do a 10 in street trim and if I get kicked out which is most likely, I will at least know what's it capable of and work my way if I want lower numbers, ten is overkill anyways. lol, that's why Im scared now how it's going to handle the extra power. But still it's a little safer than a motorbike. |

Something along the lines of Brother Says 'I'm going to send this footage to the police' Mate Says 'He's your brother' Your Bro Says 'Its alright, fuck my brother'. ;) |
