Well im certainly not living in a mansion, but i dont know any other 22 year old with 2 investment properties :P

megs_wrx 19-05-2009 04:37 PM

Yeah 400sqm house I wish I wouldn't have bothered building my own, I'd have just weaseled my way in :p

I'm building with homestart... on a 403sqm block... house is just over 150sqm... but I dissected their plan and chopped things out and added things in. Will be doing pre-start very soon, pretty excited. But as for Homestart they've been great so far!!!

Waxdass - Owner builder, thats awesome, hope it all goes well... would have loved to have done that but bank prob wouldn't have approved that for me. Good luck with it all, let us know how it goes.

Tim - Your all in and settled now hey? how'd it all go in the end? Pretty happy?

Makavel 19-05-2009 04:37 PM

it was just a joke man

NVRENUF 19-05-2009 04:40 PM
it was just a joke man
I know hence the ":P", i sympathise with the small block sizes though. Maybe it just me but even with this first home owners grant, block sizes have halved and then doubled in price hah.

miss_petepie 19-05-2009 05:44 PM

a close mate of mine is building with homestart and taken 18months to get to lock up :( keystart lost all their application details and then the builder and some providers ran out of certain tiles for the roof, plans got lost etc...

but they were lazy and didnt keep on top of them :(

im building 180sqm house on 580sqm block. prestart next week :D

NVRENUF 19-05-2009 06:08 PM
