why do people always bring up the "ban all performance, turbo's or V8's for everyone 17 - 25" crap!! if people actually looked at the cars that have been confiscated from this age group i think they'll find that "normal/family/everyday" type cars would actually out way the number of "modified/high performance" cars.

There should be a database of Age, sex, vehicle type, extent of modifications, offence (excessive speed, burnouts etc), if burnout the length of burnout and so on.

Make it crystal clear who and what the hoons are and what realistically can be done to stop this so called problem.

wouldnt make a difference the sterotype has already been set, and neither the govt nor the police have any intention of doing the right thing to tackle the issue.

How many more people are killed by drink drivers, people falling asleep at the wheel or using a phone, not paying attention yada yada compared to hoon drivers every year ?

Can't make a media beat up out of it if joe public is educated so why would they want to do that.
