Wow I just had a great conversation with an old dear at the shops.

Many a time I (I'm pretty sure we have all had this once or twice) I have had old ducks n grumpy old farts give me that "darn you ya nuthin but a hoon" look or out right lecture when they see my wrx parked or doing 5kmph in the shopping centre carpark. But today was a little different...

I was quietly loading my groceries into my boot when an elderly lady (I would put her some where around the 80 yr old mark) called for my attention as she crossed the car park "excuse me young lady" I though here we go .... but no. She asked where did i get my beautiful car? I was a little shocked but told her happily it was a gift from my hubby she was intregued by the decals and we chatted for about half an hour about the lovely sound cars like mine make and where could she get decals for her little car (couldnt quiet make it out as it was a way across the lot but i think it was a toyota of some sort) and oh what fun it must be to drive and did I ever take it to a racing track, and so on. She was totally loving it!

So I thought I would share just so we all know that TT and ACA havent managed to brain was all the nanna's yet

Oh and Buno crew if you see an old nanna driving about in a riced up decal'd toyota (whatever it was) soon give her wave she's pretty cool.

i had an older lady ( around 60 - 70 ) tell me how nice my car was ( was in my VK SS ), she reckon'd she given one just like it to her son many years before.

they're still out there, few and far between though........
