Leaving the scene of an accident
Now, on my journey as of about 15 minutes ago, i went to get bread. Shops ran out (go figure) so i went down the servo. Out of nowhere a dude flips his motobike on a straight piece of road.....Second on the scene followed by a few others. Not much blood as he was wearing full leathers, helmet etc. I helped get the bike up which was pissing with fuel with another bloke and made sure there was an ambulance on the way etc.
Now i spose the question is, legally was i able to leave the scene? I figured someone was attending to him, ambulance was on the way, bike was cleaned up and there was a car with hazards on and another 10 people there. I was just going to be another gawker. Is leaving the scene of an accident only if you are involved in it? Thanks, Eric
