It's a long story, and the majority of the original posts have been deleted, but for those that are interested, it went a little something like this:

Evo guy: "If anyone has any details on the where abouts of all the parts to this car, can you please pm me.as i wish to find out what happened and where it all went thanks.

Evo guy: "Well the fucking car is written down now as written off i dont give a fk if i dont get the system back Im a busy person i dont have time for that EVO 8 alright so whoever has infomation on my system PM me or post on this thread and for today only if anyone has infomation on the whereabouts off the system then you can come with me to those lil dogs houses and ill give you the system right there and then. OK the car will be fixed with my own money not with insurance. SO NOW WITH ALL UR THEORIES I just want these lil punks to know that if they think they can take my belongins like that then it dosent matter who you are but you better expect the same thing back. And aint it karma gonna be a bitch if i find out who those dogs are.

He also posted on perthevo.com:

He also claims that $6200 worth of stereo gear along with his antenna and indicators were stolen. He offers $3000 reward to anyone that can give information about the stolen gear or who stole the car in the first place.

The story so far (as summarized by joesac)

- Someone rear ends Evo 8.

- Owner of Evo 8 does not know what to do, has no idea where to tow it or even any idea about taking it and storing it at home until he determines the best outcome for it.

- Owner of Evo 8 therefore leaves Evo 8 on side of road.

- Owner of Evo 8 posts location of smashed vehicle on public forum.

- As a result of its now well known location and owners apparent ineptness, Evo 8 gets broken into and a range of Evo parts and stereo pilfered.

- Evo 8 owners returns to vehicle and discovers it has been broken into.

- Evo 8 owner realises he never insured vehicle and therefore has lost everything, unless people on forum can help him with the stolen gear.

- Evo 8 owner posts halp thread on public forums offering reward for his gear back.

Evo guy then says:

OK well there a certain details i left out.About 2weeks ago roughly The night i crashed the car i had to leave it there because that was the last thing on my mind. The following day i still had issues to fix so couldnt get the car towed and basically i had no place to stay had nowhere to put the car and money wasnt accessible to me at the time and basically i fogot about it the whole day. The day(3rd day) after that i went to check out my car in the morning the rear door on the driver side had the that black rubber pulled out, So im assuming thats how they would have gotten in because of the accident the rear door took some of the damage aswell so it was kinda bent out. Ok I got some people to keep an eye on the car for 2week to see if those thieves would come back and go for the whole engine or whaever. I left the car there until the 19/5/01 which is today. Cause simply i had enough and wanted to get the car fix thats why i put my threads up with rewards. What am i too be scared about if im not in the wrong??

And Finally:
Its all fucking simple you bunch of idiots. Whatever got tooken in the car was not important. Just whoever did it that was the main concern, Why they did it? was not to make money. You guys are seriously the biggest bunch of idiots ever. Why was the car there for more then 2weeks? If it was random's who did this then they would come back again. If it was someone who knew who owned the car they wont come back again cause its a sly world. So basically This thread was all a diversion. Thanks. HAHA to easy.
