Default Speed Camera Spotted

11.15am - Multanova being set up on Roe Hwy heading towards Fremantle, just before Kenwick Link exit. Really well-hidden inside the bushes, you probably won't be able to spot it, or the operator, or the operator's vehicle until you're right on top of it.

Spotted one of those new speed cameras on Abernathy road round 10am. This one was set up to take the pic from behind.... obviously radar detectors would be useless against these new types then.

just depends really if its still forward facing to calculate speed and only rear picture takin like red light cameras its no different.

However if its rearward and calculates your speed as you travel away... I dont know i assume this would pose quite a few problems.. accuracy reduces the further away you are.

interesting nonetheless.

I saw one of these new models on Hale Road, the van the guy sits in still stands out like dog's balls.

Shouldn't matter, accuracy would be the same. Would just make radar detectors redundant
