Default Outdoor gate

Hi all

I am looking at getting a gate for the side of my house. I would like one of them metal frame (colour bond) with the wooden slats just wondering if anyone has one of these and where you got it from. I have had a quote
for 2k its a large gate about 3m wide but I think I could get better.

Let me know if you have one and where you got it from. Can you get them from bunnings

Looking for the same thing for my house.
Probably going to build myself with some help.
Too many people want crack pipe prices.

I've come from the metal/gate/fencing industry. 2k for a 3m 'solid' framed gate, wood lined with appropriate quality fixings is fairly accurate pricing.

I thought thats what I was going to pay he is also going to put a council lock on the gate as the metre box will be behind the gate. I just wanted to get a few more quotes and see what other people have done

If its any help to you I can loan you (deposit down) two 90 degree metal welding clamps. Like a picture framers clamp but for metal. Makes welding corners easy. Having said that I will have to find them 1st. You can hire a welder but make sure you get good quality ball bearing hinges and with a grease nipple.
