Default Petrol Prices

I have noticed that my local servo has had regular petrol at 109.9 for at least the past 2 weeks.

I have also noted that other Coles Express servos are of the same price when i drive past, but as i do not drive past everyday am unable to confirm consistency.

Has anyone else noted this? Am i seeing things? Has hell frozen over?

Does anybody have any information on this phenomena?

was up north last week... paid $1.50 at most stops, so I am quite happy to see prices of $1.20-30

Yeah I dont know whats going on, for the last XXX months BP has without fail brought its price up 15-19c on Wednesday every single week but then the last couple of weeks have not done anything.

My theories...

Fuel watch is a useless waste of taxpayers money and always just said this weekly rise is just 'normal fuel price cycling' (wtf?!) but there have been enough complaints or questions asked that BP have been forced to stop doing it.

Or

In the lead up to the christmas holidays they are holding fuel prices steady to lure everyone in to a false sense of security then come December 18th when most of the state stops work until the new year....BAM! Price hike by 25c that will stay until about Januray 4th when everyone is back at work and not driving around.
