Danny won, and i wanted him to win, before the fight i was telling my buddies Roy jones is not the same man he used to be, and danny has really improved since mundine, i know Danny used to spar with another all time great, James Toney, in L.A and he used to go toe to toe with Toney...and Jones fought toney and beat him ages ago...HOWEVER..despite that fact that Danny did the hard yards and won and hats off to him...from a neutral perspective some things dont make ANY sense...even to danny supporters, being an avid follower of boxing and having boxed for a few years myself it just seemes very strange that Roy dropped after 122 seconds, he had not warmed up at all, he seemed unfazed by the loss...I know danny's very strong but Roy has had wars with big heavy weights and very big names from supper middleweight to heavy weight and 8 time world champ, and danny gets rid of him in 122secs??...I knew danny was going to win given his recent winning streak and roys recent decline..but NOT in 122 secs, lesser opponets have lasted much much longer with danny, something is very off about this fight..very very off.. any thoughts or should i have my head checked?

yea, even a person who has NEVER boxed or thrown a punch in their life would last alot more than 122 secs....yea it felt fake and kinda staged..but will all the corruption in boxing these days who knows, if the $$$ is good enuff i would happily take a dive, Roy may have just retired a very very rich man...now danny has 4 years to try for the bigger belts WBO/WBC...he better hustle hard!...good luck danny

Ok so let me get this straight....Roy Jones comes all this way to Australia and lets him self get smashed in the side of the head and takes a dive?

He would achieve what by doing this? Go and look at the numbers and then judge for yourself.

His planned Hopkins fight now looks unlikely after Hopkins went the distance and won on points in his match over night. There goes a US$10 million payday for Roy. Now how much did he get paid to fight here? AUD $3.5 plus costs. Now he has to go looking for chumps to fight him for much smaller paydays or retire.

Roy Jones also need to be helped out by handlers leaving Acer Arena last night and spent some quality time at a local hospital in Sydney.

Great result for Jones right and won hell of a stage job.

No way that was thrown... RJJ is slow to get fired up, and Green always goes out all guns blazing.. may have been a lucky shot, or well planned. Green won it fair and square..
