Default Rice!
More than just a nutritious cereal grain... I dropped my new Iphone in the toilet (pre-shit) and it was submerged for 5+ secs. It died & wouldn't turn on etc. Took out the sim card and water dribbled out. Anyways the good ol Internet told me to put it in a bowl of rice overnight.. lo & behold this morning it worked. woo hoo!

Another method is to instantly put the phone in methanol. Methanol evaporates at a much lower temperature than water so washes the water out and then evaporates. Saved a Sony Ericsson from exactly the same issue.

Thankfully pre everything as well.

iPhones = portable porn, no big secret there.
