It's what, $50 for 2 weeks if you have Foxtel? Otherwise I don't see the issue on complaining about something so passionately when we get it for free?

From the 30 mins I've seen each day of the coverage and the bits I saw on the weekend I thought it was reasonable. And considering most people in WA probably don't even know what snow looks like the commentary helps (or whack your remote to mute).

For some reason my foxtel is giving me free olympics to...not that I am watching it.

As for Ch9 Top Gear, absolute shat!! Adverts, adverts, adverts, adverts...I wont be watching it again.

I think that while most of us work, yeh, but most of us have free time in the latter part of the evening to watch such events and would make the time available bearing in mind that the Olympics only come around every 2 years.

Given the time zone differences, while we are watching McGuire bumping his gums on 1/2 day old stuff, we could instead be watching true live coverage... Canada daytime = Aussie evening.

As for ripoff Foxtel we shouldn't have to pay for something which has been live free to air for decades, for the benefit of the whole community, not just the select few who can actually afford pay TV on top of the normal cost of living.

Quite seriously, can someone tell me why it matters that Channel 9 butchered Top Gear, because i dont understand the problem? Im sure 90% of you download it when it first comes out anyways, so whats the big deal?
