Was just cruising down the freeway (Canning Hwy to Beeliar Drive/Armadale) and after each of the on ramps onto the freeway, there were groups of 2-7 hot rods/50's 60's cars just parked there. All the owners were standing around having a yarn.

At first i thought they'd just broken down but after seeing a group of them at each and every merge point onto the freeway obviously this wasn't the case...

Does anyone know if there's something on? My only guess is that they've got a lane or two booked at the motorplex for WAW. If so, it'd be worthwhile popping down as there were some pretty nice looking cars.

Either that or they fail at the concept of "meet points" (unlikely).

I was trying to figure why they were scattered randomly along the break down lanes too...

Highly doubt the rods would be hitting WAW as they have their own Nostalgia drags in a couple weeks...

P.s. pull your head out of the sand.. just because you have a hot rod or 50, 60's cars doesnt mean your automatically a 'Trev' if you have an open mind about cars you would learn so much more...

Spotted KRQQZIN on the way home, did the sign of respect and the passanger looked stoked that at least someone out there was appreciative of a nice old car, that's what the car scene is all about IMHO, mutual respect for others vehicles

This cruise would be nice to tag onto .. they have stops coinciding with each off ramp from Joondalup to Mandurah and finishing up there for old skool dancing and show and shine spec ... it is a great atmosphere
