Thanks for everyones input, it was as i suspected, he nearly got taken for a ride, he will be contacting them on Monday and cancelling. Other than the tinting, it was the "SMART Club" (how ironic) repair thing offered in the package that got his attention, where "unlimited" nicks, dents, scratches, interior tears, rim scuffs etc would be repaired, after i read the fine print it seems he would still have to pay the call out fee of god only knows what each time, so was really paying for nothing.

2009 Audi A3 TDI with 11,000kms. he was tossing up between that, an XR5T, Peugeot 206 turbo diesel something or other, and a Mondeo turbo diesel...trading up from his 05 Impreza Wagon. The XR5T was not roomy enough inside, the Mondeo was too big a car and in the end preferred driving the Audi to the Peugeot.

Yeah tko (Sungard) was gonna be my first recommendation to him, as they're probably one of the closest and seem to have quite a good name around the traps.

we'll see, he was after something with a bit more poke than his non-turbo Scoobie, and not AWD for fuel economy (besides he drives my car every now and again and gets his dose of turbo dak-dak goodness)
