Talking Car Audio Installer.

Hey guys,

I am at the stage of my life where i really need to deciede what i want to be doing for the rest of it.

I am really really keen in car audio and installing. I undertook work experience at a car audio shop while i was in high school and loved it. Since learning the basics from there i have worked on heaps and heaps of my mates cars and have furthermore improved my skills. I previously went for a job interview and was told that i needed more experience to gain a position in this field. After weighing up my options i have enrolled in an automotive electrical pre-apprenticeship position at tafe.

I was wondering if any of you guys had any clue if i am headed in the right direction?

Or if anybody knows of a way to get more experience, any opinions would be a great help to me.

Cheers..

if you enjoy it bro go for it,
i know heaps of mates who are just regular sparkies but still like it

there's really no 'right direction', but i know the pays decent and you seem to want to do it, so that seems pretty 'right' to me

good luck

i reckon just hit up alberts, strathfields, or other companies that do it, and tell them you want to do it and you have some experience, just be honest with them and see what comes of it...... thats all i did

Definately speak to Macey (BUMPSTOP) first about the job, a lot of peoples idea of car audio installer can be quite different to what they originally picture the sort of work they will be undertaking.
