Default Garage TiltADoors??

Gday,

Just wondering if anyone from here is in the Garage rollerdoor/tiltadoor game and can help me out with getting one for my house?? Or if anyone has recently bought one for themselves or had a bad experience with particular make or another??

Thanks
Glenn...

My brother in law does garage doors, but only services northern suburbs.. You could give him a call and see if he'll come down your way though...

Dave Harrison is his name, tell him Brett Hackett sent ya...

yeah and make sure that you has enough height space, especially if ur car is a wagon. don't want to get ur boot caught in the garage when you accidentally press the button with garage open and boot up. happened to me before. stuffed up the rear spoiler real good.

Tilt doors are quiet akward to open and close in my opinion. You can't park close to the door because you have to allow half a meter clearance as the door swings out when being opened or closed.

Roller doors are quiet OLD now - sectional doors are the new trend.

Definatelly stay away from Modern - BIG rippof artists!

Olite: that would suck. My door for example (the motor actually) is fitted with a safety device which stops the door and retracts it back if it comes accross an obstacle - you can park your car under it, it will touch the car, push a little and then lift back up.
