Default Where to buy pine SOR (timber)

Just wondering whether anyone has a recommendation for any retail timber suppliers SOR, Canningvale to Bentley kind of area?

I usually trundle off to the local Bunnings when I need a couple of lengths of pine for some job or other, just because it's convenient. All those little trips add up, and there must be a smaller outfit somewhere in the back blocks with better pricing?

Close would be best - don't want to save two dollars on wood only to spend five getting there ;-)

As for the type of wood, I use everything from 10mm square rod to 150x18mm planks.

Well, I do have a table saw to cut it down a bit... (is that 195mm x 45mm?)

My dad is about to build a big deck so he might be interested in it too.

Yeah. I just built a 90 sq m deck. So got the 195mm x 45mm spare.

Have you decided on the deck material? I used 140mm x 20mm Merbau which looks pretty awesome. Oh and I'd suggest getting a Smart-bit (if u haven't got one) that saved me a lot of time!
