what is the point of dry ice, to chill the air coming into your intake?

Considering it is carbon dioxide wouldn't that just leave less oxygen to combust in the cylinders?

makes a good bomb; 1 x2 litre bottle with couple inches of water, add 3-4 lumps of dry ice, screw lid on tight and put in your mates letter box, ute or deposite it at his front door..saves ringing the door bell........

yeah if u wanted i could pick it up. and its good for keeping things at a constant cool. Used it on my subs once to keep the voice coil cool and it helps with keeping things consistent.

by cooling the air, denser air is fed into the intake. causing bigger boooms.
