Default The finished product

Project Meatwagon has come to an end

Body is on, 400km of wiring removed, aircon re-routed, batteries refreshed (all 3 of the bastard N70's) both alternators now charging all batteries. Everything is pretty much done.

I was amazed with how much get up and go this thing has. I guess with 7.3L Navstar with a turbo the size of a small child it should be!

The turbo is wicked, it spools for about 3 seconds and just gets louder and louder. I didn't really give it a great flogging but wheel spin from pulling away from a stand still is no dramas at all.

The only problem is the location of the fuel fillers, they had to be relocated and now filling it is a total pain in the ass as the filler is almost horizontal so the pump keeps clicking off and with a 200L capacity, it is a pain in the ass!

I believe we still have the siren box.

All it is, a mp3 player of sorts with a 3.5mm audio jack to plug into the big bastard loudspeakers.

I will see if it is laying around and let you know.

Or just buy the meatwagon and I will chuck em in as a sweetener
