I notice there is a new camera at the intersection of sevenoak st and welshpool rd (there is another camera on the other side of the railway, I think that one is a crossing camera). It is painted grey and have two heads just like the dual speed/TCL camera. During the twenty seconds when I was turning right at the stop sign, it flashed three times, and there wasnt a train coming.

Is this camera one of the seventeen new dual speed/TCL camera?

Most probably is. Did you stop at the stop sign? Were you doing above the speed limit in that turn? If not, nothing to worry about I guess.

This means they start to install the other 17 fixed cameras now, right?

The news article said 30 more, not total 30 (17 more)

The WAPOL website also only list the 13 above. Maybe they're in the process of installing and trialling the additional cameras.

Edit: It's good you brought this up, I now work in the Applecross area and pass #2 on the list daily, and never knew there was a camera there.

New cameras might be up.

One is operating outside mate's house at cnr Riseley Street & Marmion Street, Booragoon... but not on WAPOL list yet.

And thanks to FB, got reports of another one on cnr Morley Dr East & Beechboro Rd North, Beechboro. Anyone living in these area can confirm?

Yeah, that one on either side of the train line on Welshpool Rd has been there about 6 months... and it is a dual speed and red light camera I believe. when I ride my road bike to work, I go past it and see someone get flashed nearly every time. I have a quiet laugh.

I guess we might have to put up an "unofficial" red light / speed camera list as it seems the government is going to be quite happy to install further cameras without official notification.
