clarke has clearly injured his back again

doug the rug is struggling to get over 130 km/h, possible injury?

katich has an achilles heal strain and can barely run

harris has been receiving treatment for a shoulder injury

i think the team for the next test will be very different.

Either that or they have all pulled a heart muscle and want an excuse not to play.

I say, write of the ashes, give them to England. Blood some young ones. What could they do? score ducks? drop catches? make bad decisions? bowl 0/100?

You have to wonder why Australia hasn't prepared for this like England obviously has. From what the commentators were saying, England have a complete second side ready to go, plus an 11 man coaching squad. Have to give their batsmen credit though, Clarke and Peiterson played brilliantly, pure class. We have made no opportunities, bowler's put very little pressure on. We've been spoiled by Mcgrath and Warnie. Where is Stuey Clarke

Stuart clarke is getting into his late 30's and has had problems with injury and form. Mitch Johnson should play, he just needs some time in the middle. Aus has a second team to, Australia A. But the top side is full of experienced players who get far to many chances when they are clearly out of form! The team needs a shake up, there are plenty of young players that just need to be exposed to the highest level of play so they can rise to the occasion and become champions.

comes back to the selectors the current head selector doesn't like dropping the experienced players...except for the jerking around looking for a spinner. hauritz gets dropped for nothing to try a new, unproven at all levels, spinner . where the others eg clarke get to carry on doing nothing

More like spoiled by warne mcgrath, gilly, Hayden, symonds, martyn, langer!! Hahahah man the good old days!! But I agree players need to b dropped if they are constantly doing nothing!! We have to mould a new era properly otherwise au's cricket is going to b in the shit for a while!!! Dropping Johnson and hauritz was stupid!!!
