21,000 pounds & stamp duty, customs, freight, I doubt you would get any change out of $70,000 by the time it was here, then a total re build cos of the rust from pommy roads & fuel costs are hideous over there so ya better off buying a newish cheap diesel & loosing a couple of grand, they've had them pretty well sorted over for years.

22B prices have taken a knock in the UK recently.

You're missing the point. Buy it in europe to 'tour around europe'. Not
bring it here.

No I think you are missing the point, why would anyone in their right mind spend $60,000 on a car which would be almost impossible to buy parts for unles you were in a major city just to drive it around Europe, the fuel cost & insurance alone IF you could get it would cost more than the holiday. So unless he has money to burn, I was trying to suggest a cheaper alternative than constantly worrying about what is parked outside the local backpackers in Prague

I didn't come here for an argument. I can get those at home.
Just putting forward an option as a fellow WRX owner had asked a question.
Please don't bite my head off.

dont worry about what side you'll be drivin on, worry about trying to keep up. I was in Portugal. We had 1.1 litre Opel Corsa's (barina's) doing 180km/h on the freeway. its nuts

Yeah, keeping up in Europe takes a little getting used to. I drove a diesel Renault Scenic through most of Europe a few years back and probably sat on 160kph on most motorways, I was getting passed like I was parked on the side of the road.
