So I put my car up FS on gumtree last night about 11pm. So far had 4 people send me a text message and all provided an email address to direct further correspondence to. First one came through at 4:20am, cunt

and a guy named Vince who wanted to know how many kms I get with a full tank.

Just how many scammers are there on Gumtree? More to the point, how many gulliable people are there who fall for this sort of shit?

There's no way I'm contacting any of these people as it'll just be the old offshore, dad's birthday present, paypal fucked up, can you send car straight away......

Anyway, if anyone wants to launch a spambot or similar (wish I knew how) on these cock smokers and flood their email with hard gayness, please be my guest.

I played a guy along when my car was for sale...advertised at $13k & I added $5k holding fee, cleaning & treatment for it to leave my area (noxious weed/pest crap I made up) of $2k, + various other fee's so it equalled $32k. And he still said yes!

Then he disappeared.

Gumtree = 99% scam.

There's plenty of scammers contacting people via Trading Post and Car Sales too. There is no hiding from them.. I haven't had one scammer contact me from Gumtree yet, touch wood

Ken oath I'm serious. If THEY were serious they would call me with the number they texted me on instead of doing everything via email AFTER they'd already given me a contact number.
