Might try their Marinara but doubtful....

Went to Tuart Hill store.
Usually they don't put parmesan cheese on the dishes (well CV doesn't) they give it to you in a little container, that way if you love it or not you choose to have it or not.

My only complaint is they vary (sometimes quite considerably) in taste even when you order the same thing.

Ordered my usual today...no where near the normal in taste

Most Cream based Italian sauces use Parmesan Cheese to both thicken it and add flavour.

I did have the additional cup that came with it but obviously didn't need to use it, their Parmesan was nice on its own but rather overkill in the sauce.

It might be just that THEY didn't like it, not dissing the store

Most Italians and home chefs would agree that a place like that has big shoes to fill when you know how it should taste.

If I'm ever in one of the other locations I might give it a shot. I chose the Gnocchi on purpose as its one of the harder dishes to get right. I knew if that was spot on that the other dishes would have to be pretty good as well.

Duh really! I didn't say there wouldn't be any in the dish I said on top as in extra.

Hi Perth-WRX Members,

So, a random google search led us to this thread, and we were pretty impressed that one of our staff members was out there talking about us. We were even happier to find the 6 pages of discussion about us that followed, so we wanted to thank everyone who commented (the good and the bad!), and all Perth-WRX members with a bit of an offer:

Any Perth-WRX member who turns up to ANY Pastacup store this Wednesday Feb 23rd and Thursday Feb 24th, will receive ONE FREE SMALL PASTA of their choice.

This offer is one per member per store - so if you want to drive your wrx to every store you can get a free pasta at each store, but you can’t go back to the same store more than once. You’ll need to provide your forum username AND your licence plate number, with a pic on your phone as proof.

To find all our locations(including our new-style store in Canning Vale, and our recently upgraded Tuart Hill location), visit www.pastacup.com.au

We’d love to post back the results in this thread, so if you can, take a pic of your WRX outside the Pastacup(s) you visited, and email them to todd@pastacup.com.au

Thanks again,

Pastacup Australia
