I <3 Glee.

Any musician could take on that record though. It's just that most musicians only release one song at a time and don't flood iTunes with a song from the show every week like Glee. Comparing number of releases from older musicians versus today's once a week iTunes special, doesn't really work imo.

Music is subjective, yes... But who the hell is doing the votes for the Grammy's? I do suspect it is more political than actually who is the best anymore.

Just because music is popular and 'chart topping' doesnt mean its good.

For example, the worlds biggest one hit wander - Jimi Hendrix - only ever had 1 song chart in the US Billboard top 20 - and that was a cover of Dylan's 'All along the watchtower'.
