Living in Perth - Owning a vehicle interstate
Before I trudge through pages of government department jargon, I thought I'd ask here if anyone's been in this situation before.
I live in Perth. That's where my postal and residential address is. However, I also have an apartment in Brisbane, where I spend at least half of every month. As I'm in Brisbane more and more these days, I need to do something about transport. I'm looking to buy a motorbike for myself and car for my Mrs and keep them over there (Brissy). Is there anything special/different I need to do? Or is it just a matter of buying the vehicle and registering it in my name at my address in Brisbane? Do I also need a QLD drivers license? Cheers guys and girls.
