Hey guys, just wondering if anyone on p-wrx goes hunting or shooting??
If so what guns do you shoot and if you go for game what may it be??

In sa before I moved to Perth I used to hunt deer, goats, kangaroos(with permits),rabbits and foxes
Favourits gun is .270 magnum

i used to do a fair bit of rabbit and roo shooting a few years back but now have no one to go with after my mate sold his property. weapon of choice - semi auto 22 or 22 250. my mates dad managed to keep his semi auto on a special license

and next time you're going, invite me.

Ahhh nice, I'm trying to get my wa gun licence still have my sa one and all my guns, but having a tough time finding a property, might have found one just have to wait another week or so to find out

I shoot up in Carnarvon, about 1000k's north of Perth. Alot of stations up here. Mostly shoot roo's and goats, but also rabbits whenever someone feels like eating rabbit. Also to help out the station owners we shoot foxes and feral cats.

Depending what we go for, our guns range from 22 up to 308 and 300 win mag. My two favourite rifles would be my Remington 700 tactical XCR in .308win, and wildcat 22-243 middlestead.

My better half's family own 10,000acres up in Balidu (near Wongan Hills) north east of Perth. We head up there shooting rabbits, foxes and roos relatively often. Got a semi-auto 22, a few other 22's, an old double barrel and a 30-06.
