I actually interested, so I'll get my flame suit on if I have to.
If you import a silver 203, and put your STI plates on it, that is in between grey lines imho, you probably would get away with it, as it's still identifiable as a Silver 200x STi, so long as the MY matches up.

Changing the colour doesn't make it unroadworthy perse`, it's just s system/compliance thing. It's registered as a certain colour, and if it's changed it has to be updated.

Worth the risk if you want to avoid a yellow?

Just how i understand it. I think there was actually a percentage on it, so if 70% of the car is a certain colour, that is what it's registered as. You could probably find it in detail somewhere.

Had a quick look, described as a 'Primary/Main', and 'Secondary'.

I'm sure the mods would have been done ten years ago or so when that was the style a lot of moders where going for. Still a good car, just take off all the fibreglass.

In ten years forum members will be pulling the piss on Matt black paint, canards and oversize wheels.

Yeah you're probably right, but I'm a firm believer in more is less most of the time.

There's a few interesting cars popping up in the clusterfuck of a Paul Walker Tribute Cruise thread on Facebook...
