Changes in this release (since 2.30T):

Configuration Upgrading

Due to the significant differences in version 3, it may not be possible to automatically upgrade some older configurations.

The upgrade process will approximate older settings and/or produce a warning indicating any manual steps that may be required.

-NO- other fuel management system can do that!

No - the PID idle controller on the motec doesnt work so good with stepper motors. If your car idles correctly joe, and it's an my99, it means either the 'dash pot' has been moved, or you have an my01+ that doesnt run a stepper Motec haven't considered it an issue, because its only a problem on road cars with stepper idle, and even then it can be worked around.

Morgs: i installed it tonite on my evo, which uses a stepper motor almost identical to the old 'un. Initially, same symptoms - but once i fiddled with the new parameters for the step speed (different 3d tables), it's now rock solid.

So yes - it fixes it, at least on the evos.

yes, the idle control on motecs isnt as flash as a stock ecu, but there are work-arounds, this software release has been touted for some time as the final solution to a lot of the road-car issues that have held motec back. including the DBW support for the MY06 now in a plug and play.
