In my opinion, not. IF it was a V.6 STI or even just a Club Spec it is at least somewhat exclusive. It's not even the most desirable colour to be honest.

It loooks like a really neat GC8 but not $20,000 worth of car.

There's a MY99 or 00 here where I live that has been owned by the local dealer since new that has around 25~30K km on it, and for as long as I can remember they've wanted 30k for it. It's clean and all, but it's still a 15+ yo, somewhat mass produced car.

Having bought this car new back in 2007 and selling in 2009, every time it was for sale I knew about it lol

Now the 4th owner selling on.
Knowing that it did 30.000kms on the red dust in Kalgoorlie after I sold it in 2009. When I've seen it on the ramps at the Morley Holden dealership and looked under it was caked with salty red clay and under the window seals. Surely someone out there wouldn't give a fuck about that and have bargain still.

Both you and I know clearly he'll get no where near $10k, pretty sure it sold recently for $15k. My thought on it being a bargain as in someone snapping it dirt cheap and rebuilding it them selves. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone to go spend 8-10k on rebuilding through a workshop.
