tag heuer is a good mid range watch owned mine for 11 years best watch ever cause i'm pretty careless and often accidently bump it against things...

You can certainly get a nice swiss made watch for under 1k.

Teejay is right...obviously as with most things the more you spend then you will have access to premier brands...but you are largely paying for branding and u will be pissed the second u scratch it!

Personally I prefer to wear my simple plain watch than my chronograph...especially on my skinny wrists :P

I'm really happy for you and I've let you finish but it's a watch not the definitive answer to existence.

Master D check out Mazzuchellis as they defn have 15% (min) off at the moment. Also saw that David jones are having a sale atm...was good discounts there too!

correct but it will last twice as long. i'm a bit Bias towards TAG but I love my watches. This is what I have currently purchased 11 years ago
