Can anyone recommend what type of shoes or boots would be comfortable for long distance walks. Experiences with any brands, specific types of shoes.

Work requires me to walk alot and my feet are destroyed by the time I get home. I have some cheap boots I picked up from Rivers but they just are so uncomfortable after a while

my brother buys all his shoes off here, heaps cheaper even with postage.

I bought a pair of Nike's for the gym but also wear them to work. I work in a hospital and walk around most of the day. They are the most comfy shoes I've ever worn. The Sketchers I previously owned were the most uncomfortable shoes that have ever graced my feet.
