Default Microsoft Project

Hi Guys,

Wondering if any of you fellow soldiers in the building/construction industry can suggest a good (economical) place to get hold of Project? I need to this operate on two machines (two licences) and is for a business so pretty much have to go legit copies I think. Either 2007 or 2010 would be fine.

Cheers,

Chris

We purchased ours Via Dell.

You can purchase it from Harris Tech for $971 per licence.

Only really one licence you can get given its for work.

Wholesale price (looking at supplier right now) for Project 2010 Pro (Retail Version) is just below $1300. None in stock anywhere in Australia.

Possible other suppliers have it and are cheaper though, but there is a ballpark figure. My guess is try to see if they sell a business licence PKC for cheaper. (Perhaps this is what HT have).

Cheers guys. I'll have a poke around this weekend and see what I can get my hands on. I'm not convinced it's as useful a tool as some people think but if the guys working for me can use it to help make all our lives easier I am more than happy to try it.

Get someone to buy you the student version. Absolutely identical. Can load it on 3 computers and cost me $270 from memory.

The latest version is heaps better than 07.

Fixed a few of the really stupid things from 03 and 07.

Look at the licensing agreement for the software and you'll find he's correct.

When you look at it there's not a huge chance you'll get caught but the fines associated with using either illegitimate or incorrectly licensed software in a corporate environment are not worth the effort for the money saved.
