yea its possible but kies is shit to be honest much better to get canningvale to flash to froyo then you do the above yourself if your confident enough

I've flashed darky's rom but i've seemt o have lost my swype keypad? did i do something wrong

No you havnt go into a text message and onto the typing field and long press on that field from there it will bring up a couple of options from there you should see and highlight samsung swype

i tried that and i cant find swype, also i can't find the internal sd file when plugging the phone into the usb port. Is that why maybe the swype and live wallpapers arent working? I've just copied the files over to the phone but right now its sitting in a file called 'sd'
