Hippo Creek is in Subi and Hillarys Pete.

I have always been a fan of Fratelli's Italian Restaurant in Sorrento. Great view over the coast at sunset, great food, great service, and the best part, I'm in the Fratelli's club, so I have a buy one get one free card, so when the mrs and I go, I pay for my meal, hers is free!

I like my steak Medium-Rare / Medium depending on the cut.. and it has to have Pepper Sauce!

Stace - I can lend you my card if you wanna go? They don't have pepper sauce on the menu there, but you can order it, and the steak comes on this onion/potato fritter.. god it's so good!

Another good place I enjoyed was 'The King and I' on James St, Guildford (opposite Alfred's Kitchen) If you like hot food, go there and try the king cobra... I had a 15 min drive home, and almost didn't make it before the ring stinger kicked in (and I didn't even finish the dish it was that hot!)

Also, love Masala Indian Restaurant in Clarkson. All you can eat, probably the best curry NOR!

And my old fav, Kulcha, in Joondalup. One of the best chinese, japanese, thai places I have ever been to. Prices are great, but bookings are a must! Always ALWAYS packed!

Fast food - Always go Wok in a Box, or Nandos, 1/4 chicken, extra hot, with extra hot sauce, and peri peri salt on the fries, or Red Rooster

Also Il pad's has a new home in Northbridge. I went there the other night and it was really good. Nearly on a par with when they were on William st.

As for my steak if it is a decent restaurant it will be rare. If it is a seriously good restaurant and the chef will cook it then I am keen for blue.

I thought Hippo Creek Scarbs was still opening certain days of the week (or it was until very recently)? The signs etc were still there.

hippo creek was good, but soooo over rated now. i know every1 went there because of gareth but it has gone down hill in my opinion.

PS. i had the best steak ever at hippo creek scabs couple years ago, before hillarys had opened.
it was the 1KG Tbone, was awesome. never had anything good like that first experience at hippo again.

Best ribs I have ever had was at Sante Fe in Subiaco $30 Pork Ribs combined with a order of their chicken nachos was awsome. If you get the ribs ask for the BYO Hot sauce, goes really well with the ribs.
