Im on the hunt for a good pair now.

Quite a few Jordan 6's around - ranging from around $2500 for original (vintage) NIB which is about the going price to around $99 for what would most likely be chinese knock-offs. A decent pair of 2010 re-release ones will set you back around the $200 - $250 mark which is quite reasonable.

i used to have a pair of these back in the 90's but in black and purple.



cost me $200 back then from Foot Locker in town ( got a discount of $40 because one was on display and dusty )

i used to buy soooo many pairs of shoes back in the mid 90's to early 2000, 30 would have been the most though but i have since cut them back to 25ish. wish i still had some of my old Nike's and Addidas but like everything, you don't think of it at the time. only ever bought Nike and Adidas too, mostly Nike though.

$500+ is crazy money for a pair of shoes! Call me a cheap-ass, but that's a bit excessive. I'm not one for investing much in fashion, but at the end of the day its only fashionable for a limited population or timeframe.

Yeah... Until they are around ~$150 which is about average for Eastbay, I won't be bothering... I wear shoes... and playing 3-4 times a week means they don't last for ages unfortunately, and I don't want to be forking out $200+ every 6 months for shoes...

Same type of person who pays 3k for an ECU for their car
1500 bucks for an exhaust
1k for brake pads and rotors
1.70 for BP98

You dont actually NEED any of those.

Its a passion. I play basketball still, I played since I was young, I watch it on a regular basis. It is simply investment in a hobby.

Its like spending 500 bucks on a genuine Ford WRC Team jacket.
