Make it quite clear to the agent what they may tell prospective buyers about the tenants.
When we were renting the real-estate agent took it upon himself to tell some prospective buyers in a loud voice outside in a block of flats we were renting in that we were both FIFO and were never there. Thankfully I was there and reminded him hard objects hurt if he was to mention it again. Needless to say he didn't get an offer from those clients and was considerably more respectful the next home open.

I've never rented a place before, but have had home opens at my own houses in the past when trying to sell. I've never had any real problems, other than one occasion when i had some aftershave nicked from the bathroom.
I've also been to home opens where the tenant/occupant has been home. Its not uncommon at all.
