Default HID Torches

Hey guys, been looking at some torches like the maglites. Mainly used as a security purpose when looking for that noise you heard out the back .

Came across these babies though, anyone got one or seen one? Would like to know how bright they are!

Any info would be great!

Paul

I got one of these,
Ultrafire WF-503C Cree R2-WC 5-Mode 250-Lumen LED Flashlight with Assault Crown (1*18650) - Free Shipping - DealExtreme
Heaps brighter than mag light, has the assault crown and for the price it doesnt matter if it breaks. Ive had mine for about 8 months and not a problem. Also has fast strobe which does stun people.

I have one like the pic below. 65w HID is seriously bright, the HID's in my Foz are 35w each. It takes maybe 10 - 20 seconds to warmup to full brightness, has 3 power settings which I don't remember off hand and it came with everything in the piccy in a nice solid aluminimum case. The only downside is that I need to remove the battery to charge it, and the thread on the end cap is fine so I am afraid I will cross thread it sometime if I am not really careful.

Check out the Army surplus store in perth, picked up a LED Lenseer P17 torch up from there and it's really powerful and it has a scope in scope out to focus the beam. You could probably hurt somebody with it too :P
