Is it possible? Have a new iPhone and ipad that I need to 'start' or sync or whatever the fkk its called - in this portable world no one has a proper computer anymore - making new apple shit Fkn USELESS!! Lol

Yes and no.

Some of the tablets come with their own branded syncing software, e.g. Samsung Kies or HTC Sync, but having not used either I wouldn't be able to tell you what functionality either would have.

However, the gmail account is able to sync calendar entries, contacts and email with any android tablet/phone.

As TJ said, any new Apple iOS product does not require a computer to be set up.

For your question, no you can't run iTunes on a Android device.

Worst case scenario, go to the Apple store and get them to update you to iOS 5 if you have bought a 2nd hand item.

Used another iPhones wireless hotspot lol, took forever but worked

Still wouldn't mind iTunes for tablets so you could sync music n shit across :-)

With iCloud and iTunes Match, the PC shouldn't be needed at all anymore.

But I don't use those things, so I don't know if they actually work yet
