I was very disappointed in the Freo game.. When i was there, the crowd was pretty quite and so was I.. Which is unusual, since i'm a member and sit with all of the other members.. Looked like a junior football match with the poor skills. Hopefully Lyon gets into far more work on skills during their next training sessions! I'm not expecting a win next week either...
West Coast on the other hand... They just haven't had a test yet! Have only played some terrible teams which of course they were going to demolish and they only have more easy games to come! Who got to choose their fixtures... -.- |

^Hawthorn this weekend wont be an easy game.
Eagles run isnt that easy, especially at the end of the year, unlike last year. Adelaide have an easy run. Play both Goldcoast and GWS twice.

FREMANTLE midfielder Nat Fyfe remains a chance to line up against St Kilda on Friday night despite a serious shoulder injury.
Fyfe will travel to Melbourne later this week to have his injured left shoulder examined by a specialist, but both he and the Dockers are optimistic about his chances of playing against coach Ross Lyon’s former club at Etihad Stadium. Surgery could rule Fyfe out for the rest of the season. It is the same shoulder the 20-year-old had reconstructed last September. Fyfe dislocated his shoulder during a heavy clash with Brisbane’s Matt Maguire in Saturday’s 29-point win over the Lions at Patersons Stadium. He joined his teammates at Bicton Pool for yesterday's recovery session, without his arm in a sling and appeared untroubled while performing some swimming exercises. But Fremantle football operations general manager Chris Bond said the club would not be taking any risks with Fyfe. "Along with our medical staff, we will be guided by the specialist’s opinion on what the best course of action is for Nat’s long-term playing future and his general well being,” he said. The prognosis, however, is not as good for youngster Josh Mellington, who faces surgery on his injured hamstring and an extended period on the sidelines. Mellington flew to Melbourne earlier today to consult a surgeon and is likely to go under the knife as early as tomorrow. The 19-year-old was playing just his fifth AFL game. “Josh has had a really good start to the season and the injury is a bitter blow for him and the club,” Bond said. “But with the appropriate period of recovery and rehabilitation, we are hopeful that Josh will be available to play in the latter part of the season.”

Amazing isn't it . . . our season was dogged with injuries last year and Lyons / Freo prepared to put an injured player on the battle line so early in the season?
