Might be a blessing in disguise. Sandi is awesome but players from both sides know he is going to win the tap so opposition just play off his taps and have a good chance of getting the clearance. A midfield as good as the Blues makes it even worse.

Now the Blues need to play against a reasonably new and unstudied ruck combo of Griff/Clarke and on top of this have to win their own taps. Might throw them and their gameplan enough to make up for the loss of Sandi when kicking long down the line etc.

Sandi in or out won't stop Judd having a day out. Slowing down Judd is a job for someone like Crowley. End of the day if Judd is going to have a blinder, not many in the comp can stop him.

Last nights game was some of the most boring defensive rubbish I've seen in years. Certainly not entertaining football. Has reinforced that I don't like the Lyon's game plan.

Once again - if only Freo could learn to kick straight. Abysmal points / goal ratio which if swapped would have been a winning score.

Congrats to the Blues fans ... I'm going to borrow some razor blades from Jaron.

Was great to go to the game and see my Blue boys get up over the Shockers!! Though I do agree with you GTB...was a very boring game...and it wasn;t until the last 10 minutes that the Dockers started to take the game on that they started scoring..and it started to get exciting.

Either way, happy that we got the 4 points and no major injuries. Also managed to get my ugly mug on TV a fair bit last night (I was behind the goals at the subi end)....hahaha

The Dockers' rolling rugby scrum style of footy is horrendous to watch - you guys must be loving the new coach?

Glad I only have to sit thru 1 of their games.
