Ok so plug I device into HDMI converter and turn on screen (see picture)
Had to use Ipad as I was using Iphone to take photo. So if you laptop has a HDMI input (not output) it just mirrors the devices screen. You are better off with a little tv with HDMI inputs |
Thats pretty mad!
|
aagh so I need to buy the Ipod to HDMI output cable, no way of doing this with USB input..
cheers scary, will indeed be buying this asap!! |
Make sure your laptop has HDMI input though! Won't work otherwise.
|
I have tried google to find if my laptop has HDMI input with no sucess, is there any quick way to find this out? I have a HP Envy 14 running windows 7..
cheers |
Think it doesn't... gayer than aids!!
|
I'd be willing to say it doesn't have hdmi input. Most people want to output from the laptop, not use it as a screen so 99% of them are output only (I've never seen one with input).
You'd need another 3rd party accessory to input the hdmi to your laptop and then software to render it on the screen. By the time you do all this, it is far far cheaper to buy a small screen to use. |
Search online for remote desktop style applications for iPhone, just instead of being able to RDP to your PC from the phone, it would go the other way around. Not sure if it is possible with the iPhone but worth checking.

To the best of my knowledge there is no RDP for Iphone.I would still suggest tethering to laptop and check if you can get the Telstra games up on the laptop.
