Default Foxtel - offers, deals

My TV reception in my area is a crock of shit
Have spent enough on getting antennae, signal boosters, etc, and still shit

previous tenant had foxtel in the house, and has left the dish on the roof and the connection point

anyone here know of secret squirrel foxtel deals
had a guy knock on our door last week and offered a crack pipe offer, which was more than what is advertised on their website

footie season's probably not a good time to get good foxtel deals??

The thing I found when I had fox, is they can be negotiated. They have a monopoly... Tell them this, then demand a deal

There is a thread on the Whirlpool forums for this exact thing, everyone lists the deals they get to try and help others get the same deals....maybe check that out as well for some ideas of what you can try and negotiate

Last year did a little stint at salmart (aka foxtel)
And I could sign mates up, and could get the good package.

But basically
Wether u have a dish or not dosent really matter, instalation is free
(if u live I'n the contry u may have to pay a county fee of up to $150)

If Your going thru a mate@ foxtel, kiosk, or d2d salesman, you can get the sd iq box for free.
HD box for $150
Or HD TB box for $200

They are allowed to take up to $60 off (but normally only between $30-40. You need to get better box or multiroom or something for them to be able to give the higher discounts) any 12m package
And
1 Give you first month free platinum HD
Or
2 give you $22 bucks a month (1st 6m's) of any package that isn't byo (build your own-custom)
Changed slightly to suit Xmas, footy season etc...
Or
3 whatever special season deal is on
(currently the cheap little led tv)

12month packages are by for the best value, and you are able to get discounts and free stuff

The unlocked packs didn't really sell, worst value out of the lot.
After 6pm they have a thing called a red rocket, which is the best package (platinum) plus free install and free box for two months - then your choice to continue or decline - but these deal is only offered and can only be discussed between 6&8pm (to creep under laws that do not permit anything over 100$ to be sold after 6pm.

If anyone is interested I'n gettting foxtel, or wants more info Pm me.
Pretty sure I should still be able to sign you up and get better deals with discounts and that (foxtel balls lol)

Rob.

Foxtel are being stooges to us at the moment..
We have been with them for over 4 years.. We are on the full package but without HD
but have a IQ box... we are paying $122 per month, plus $10 extra to have and extra box in another room.
They are doing all these deals to get new customers but not helping the older customers that have been with them for years.. deals like 55 bux a month for 3 months full package no install fees, so i ring them up to ask if they do a deal for the older customers... maybe 3 months for us @ 55 bux... they told me outright, no hesitation.. No, Cant do anything for you.... I said maybe i will cancel and look into telstra for a deal.. The Foxtel rep had the nerve to say straight away, would you like me to cancel for you right now.. Ha.. I had to go back into my shell and say.. Not yet.. i wanna look into it some more.. Dirty bastard foxtel.

Just now found my foxtel files In a box from when I moved, I'll need to ring up to see if I need to use A different ssc code, and I'll be able to do the paperwork for anyone on here (sign you up)
As long as you don't have a debt with foxtel lol

But yeah, I can come round, explain packages & get you free install.
